Wednesday 28 October 2009, at 3.00 p.m. Intercontinental Hotel (Madrigal Room), Bucharest The OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights has extensive experience in observing elections. In the last decade, it has observed around 150 election processes, deploying thousands of experts and observers from the entire OSCE region. The LEOM is led by Vadim Zhdanovich and consists of 11 international elections experts from nine OSCE participating States to be based in Bucharest. In addition, 14 long-term observers will be deployed to regional centres across the country.
