dothebart: I've done some more work on localizing date strings and such.  
I realize that we still have some work to do in terms of presenting the 
month/day/year in the correct order, but at this point, all of the month 
names and weekday names are sourced from localized strings.  Could you 
test this please, to make sure it looks correct?  Thanks...
