Unfortunately, the information in the white paper you refer to is removed in RUP 5.5 and forward. These guidelines are still present in the ClearCase manual and is what we base our internal guidelines on. The replacement in RUP 5.5/2000 is the UCM tool mentors and the "Concept: Product directory structure" document which tries to cover the complete set of artifacts in one hierarchical structure but it lacks the specific CM tool guidelines of the previous whitepaper (use of VOBs/CM areas for subsystems, naming of files and directories, labeling conventions, etc).
