-----Original Message-----We are currently in the process of starting a substantial project using Rational Unified Process. We have a number of workpackages each of which will develop a part of the system, as well as a number of system-level teams which will execute RUP workflows on the system level. We are basically following the whitepaper "Developing Large-Scale Systems with the Rational Unified Process". In the process, we are currently looking in the way to set up a CM system (using PVCS/Dimensions) which would allow us to configure RUP artefacts for a number of concurrently working teams. Are there any experiences on the following subjects:

Subject: (ROSE) RUP and configuration management for large projectsAny experiences are welcome,
- What kind of CM structure should be set up in the CM system should be defined so as to fit with RUP? For example, should we set up CM areas for every subsystem, or per workflow?
- Are there any experiences on using PVCS/Dimensions as CM system for RUP artefacts (UML models). Our CM people report that there are currently difficulties in coupling Rose with PVCS? Can anyone report on successful use?
- Should our workpackages have separate Rose models for their work, or should just there be one big model with controlled units per piece of work? If models are separate, what kind of means are available to check for consistency of interfaces between subsystems on the system level?
