I guess I don't know the difference between Rose's definition of VC and MSVC

Isn't VC short for Visual C++ ?  Isn't that a direct reference to Microsoft
Visual C++ ???

But then MSVC, what is that?  it seems to refer to the same product:
Microsoft Visual C++...


If rose treats them differently, it would be nice if it popped up a wizard
dialog that said something along the lines:

"Rose detects a visual studio file.  Would you like to use the wizard to
update the model instead of reverse engineer?"
then put a YES/NO/HELP button so we could take whatever advantage it
offered.

At least if you have two tabs refering to the same product produced by
microsoft, provide us with the explanation of what is meant by
differentiating them.
