Check with your network administration people. It sounds like a permissions
problem.
Rose works well on plotters. I've used it on HP Plotters. Also, I did get
different behaviour when I submitted the print job. That had to do with the
plotter being controlled by a print server in another domain. Make sure
you select the proper paper size (ANSI A, B, C, etc).
I've received the "Can't start Print Job" message from Rose before when
trying to print, and that is the result of a network error, (Print Server
may be down).

Subject: (ROSE) Printing Large Diagrams
Hello,
I have an HP DesignJet 450C available for plotting. I am having some
trouble sending large class diagrams to this device.
The error I'm receiving is simply "Can't start print job."
Does anyone know if this is a Rose problem or a problem with my network
connectivity? In any event, does anyone have an idea as to what I can do to
get it to work?
I called Rational Tech Support and the person said there shouldn't be any
reason why Rose wouldn't work with this plotter, so it must be a network
problem.
Suggestions?
