The number of licenses needed will match the number of folks that require
regular access to Rose.

For example, I worked on a team of 11 SW Engineers, and about 5 System
Engineers. All the of SW folks needed access daily, but the Systems folks
needed only occasional access. At a minimum, 11 licenses were needed
(anything less will leave SW Engineers wanting to model, but unable to do
so)... plus an extra license or two for the Systems folks. In my case, we
actually had only 9 licenses... and we did have SW Engineers waiting for a
license to become available.

If you have 20 needing daily access, then 5 just wont suffice. If cost is
an issue, you can use a less expensive tool. Another option is to structure
the team/development process, such that some team members can focus on
non-modeling tasks. i.e. concurrent builds.

Subject: (ROSE) license calculate

Hi group.

We will have a team of aprox 20 person using rose to desing and develop. How
many floating license should we buy. There's any relation between number of
person to work and floating license. I think that 5 will be sufficient. Am'I
rigth?, if not how can I calculate the rigth amount (even more, thinking
that Rose isn't inexpensive)

thanks a lot
