open your registry and edit following key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Rational
Software\Rose\AddIns\Java\FundamentalTypes
this is a semicolon separated list of fundamental types that will
be displayed as Attribute values.
Note: If the member once reverse-engineered as relation it is
always reverse-engineered as relation so you must delete the
member from model if you have changed the fundamental types.
Then reverse-engineer and your member will be an attribute.
