J,
I recommend you start by looking at Project Technology. They actually
bought the Teamwork product, and I think they may still be the owners of
Teamwork.
Last time I talked to PT they were looking at tools for taking Teamwork
models into their own tool, BridgePoint.
Unfortunately this may not help you, because even if you can import your
diagrams into BridgePoint you may find you've got the same problem going
from BridgePoint to Rose.
Still an avenue worth pursuing I think,
Les.

I have a question concerning importing models from legacy tools.
We (Thales Naval Systems) have a large amount of information models
(Entity-Relationship-based) built using the tool Teamwork (developed by
Cadre, which became Cayenne Software, which became Stirling Software,
which later became Computer Associates).
We are now moving to UML modelling and Rational Rose; however, we would
like to find a way to import some information from our legacy models
into Rose. Of course, this step is only the first step in the conversion
process, as there are semantic differences between UML and ERDs. We were
thinking first of a possibility to translate the format which Teamwork
generates into a format which Rose can import.
Does anyone know of any company which has developed or performed such a
conversion tool?
