If you are using the Windows OS, a simple way is to Edit->Select All, and
Edit->Copy on the diagram you want to convert. It is now on your clipboard
and can be pasted in any Windows app that supports OLE (ie MSWord, MSExcel,
MSPaint. I usually use MSPaint which is at Windows
Start->Accessories->Paint. The student can then save this file and email to
you!

Could someone please post a procedure that would allow me to save a Rose
diagram as a Gif file?
I am instructor in a university OO course. One of my students is using Rose
for diagramming, and needs to turn in homework in a format that I can view.
I do not have a copy of Rose myself to figure this out, and could not find
any hint in the web-based operator's manual. Would someone please send me a
simple procedure (suitable for passing along to a neophyte) that would turn
the diagrams into something the student can email to me and that I can view?
