Hai,

this is caused by a change in the Rose GUI: in previous releases,
you could only select objects in one diagram. A selection in another diagram
did unselect the previous selection(s).

With Rose 2001 this new feature was introduced (and I personally like it:-),
so any REI script using the getSelectedItems or GetSelectedClasses methods
will grab all selected objects across diagrams...

I tried the ESC key, but well, this feature has been removed.
So, if this happens often to you (and your team) I can only suggest
to contact support and open an enhancement on this issue.

With best regards,
Volker

Betreff: (ROSE) Rose2001/Patch1 - Weird behaviour with code viewer

This is a new behavior with Rose2001/Patch1:
- Click on a class, say class A, on a class diagram, say diagram A
- Navigate to another class diagram, B
- Click on class B
- Press Ctrl-K to open source file (CPP) with source viewer
- Viewer comes up with both A.cpp and B.cpp

This behavior was not observed in past versions of Rose. This is clearly an
undesirable development since we have to remember to unselect every thing
that was selected otherwise some action might be directed at objects not in
the current view. Is this a bug or is this a no cost 'extra feature'?
