Can anyone help with a query I have regarding using Visual Source Save 6.0
with Rational Rose. I have exported and imported files to a new model which
I now want to put under version control. However as the original cat file
is also under version control when I 'add to version control' from the Rose
toolbar the file to added to the wrong project - ie the one where it already
exists - although at a different level!!!!! Rational confirm that the
export/import is a copy so this must be a VSS problem.
I have tried removing the original file from version control before I
export/import it and then putting them both under VSS and I have tried
adding the file from within VSS but I can not get this to work either as
using this method it is still necessary to add the file to VSS from within
Rose - unless I am doing this wrong!
Has anyone else had this problem and/or is there a workaround for it - I am
getting very frustrated!!
