Hello,
We (a small language technology company) are learning to work with UML and
Rose and one of the major questions right now (for the planning of our "UML
training") is:"who has to be able to create models and who (only) has to be
able to read them?" I read in this forum that you should not let
non-programmers near the UML (Rose), but are there more opinions?
Of course, our software engineers will create all kinds of models, but what
about the sales department (business models, Use-Cases?) and domain experts
(linguists in our case: Use-Cases and some analysis?)
Should we train a small group of all-round UML/Rose "experts" that create
models from the natural language that others supply?
Thanks in advance,
Remco
