hiho,

This is a common issue for new users.  The user interface model here is counter-intuitive, but there is some sort of sense to it.

Use "Edit | Delete from Model (Ctrl+D)" to delete objects and messages.

The idea is that when you delete a class from a class diagram, you are just removing it from the diagram but it remains in the model.  If you put all sorts of description text and other data on the class, you still have that.  On the other hand, if you remove an object from a diagram, that object is removed from the model completely -- the description and all other aspects of it are gone.  Note that the class that the object was an instance of remains; this is just the object we are talking about here.

Subject: (ROSE) Sequence Diagram - Object and object message deletion

Hi to anybody

I'm starting to use Rose 98i. I don't succeed to delete objects and object messages from a sequence diagram.

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance

Beppe
