At the print dialog box, there is a layout
tab. Click on the tab and choose Fit to page option. That should do
the trick to fit the diagram to a single page. Otherwise, choosing the
default print option, there should handles printed that you can use to paste
several pages into a single large diagram.
However, personally, I don't like large sequence
diagrams. For one, the problem of printing - and printing to serveral
pages only results in nice wallpapers but serves little or no functional
value. For another, large sequence diagrams also means more mental
capacity to understand what is being achieve.
My preference for a complex scenario is to break it
down to multiple sequence diagrams that fits nicely to an A4 or Letter
size paper. This, I find, helps tremendously in readability of your design
specifications...and also easier for you later to maintain the design
specifications as well. But, this is just my suggestion.
