To add
to the suggestions and to make things more practical (maybe an open door for you
guys but anyway ;-) ) :
Splitting up a large sequence diagram in multiple diagrams is facilitated
in Rose by the capability to hyper link sheets. Just drop a UML note on a
diagram and attach that note to a message in a sequence diagram. Create another
sequence diagram with the details regarding the operation that you connected the
note to. Drag and drop this new sheet from the Rose model browser on top of this
UML note.
Double
clicking this note will open up the new sheet and will reveal the detail. You
can thus create a sheet hierachy. Divide and conquer ;-)
You
can go back to the initial sheet (with the UML note on it) by clicking on the
back arrow (the blue one in the top middle section of the Rose menu speed button
bar.
