Take a look at www.rationalrose.com
It has been a while since I've been there, but there are a lot of
utility-type scripts that do things like this. There is/was a script that
would convert java associations to attributes, on a model which was created
by reverse-engineering some code.
If you find that a script does not exist that does exactly what you are
looking for, you could probably use this one (associations2attributes) as a
pattern to one that does......
