Hello Paul,
We also use ClearCase and Rose (both are
2001A.04.00) but we never experience such a problem. We publish our Rose model
on the network and any people in our company can browse it without Rose
installed on their computer.
They just have to start from \\TheNetworkLocation\TheRoseModelWebPublishing\index.htm.
Regards,
Laurent
JOSEPH.

Subject: (ROSE) Clearcase->Rose ,
Web publishing ?
Hi there,
I have some Win2k Clearcase (2002)
users who integrate into Rational Rose.
They sent me the following question,
I was wondering if you had any
ideas?
thanks..
---------------------------
I attempted to publish our model to a web on the
public network but failed.
I can successfully publish a web to the Z drive
but this is of no help when
trying to show the model to colleagues without
Rose installed.
..There is an option in Rose under Tools that allows you
to publish the
model. Once published anyone can browse the model using
IE or Netscape
without having Rose installed. There are some configuration
settings but
once these are set and a location chosen Rose does the
rest. My concern is
that ClearCase is somehow interfering with this
process evidenced by the
fact that I can publish to the Z
drive.
