Thanks Paul. I've downloaded the upgrade and installed it. It did indeed
fix the problem of Rose moving the method bodies. However, it still seems
to have problems. Now my some of my static inner classes have problems in
Rose and any method mentioning them gets commented out and moved. I also
had to fully qualify my import statements every where and I think I may
even have to fully qualify my static inner classes everywhere. Too much of
a hassle. I've gone back to using the Cafe 3.0 Ensemble linkage. It works
properly and has never altered my code in a bad way.
Anyone have tips for using static inner classes with Rose and the reverse
engineer?
Rational support was very helpful in diagnosing the problem and leading me
to the download page though :-)

Bill,
Rose 2002 has a service release 1. In that service
release defect rose00058432 is fixed. I think that
this may help you in your problems. Do you think you
are able to upgrade to SR1?
Thanks,
Paul Cooley
