Arne,
If you're familiar with Rational then you know that we have a VERY STRICT
policy about announcing future capabilities. As far as support for C++ for
.NET all I can say is "We are committed to supporting multiple .NET
languages, however we cannot say when or in what order."

For now, you have two options for C++. You can continue to use Rose to
model your C++, the unmanaged C++ should be the same as your current C++.
You will not have a direct integration to VS.NET, but you could use any VS6
integration that you are currently using. Or, you can use XDE to do your
modeling with what we call a 'content model'. This will give you full
modeling capabilities, just no RTE.

Regards,
  Nansi

Hi Nansi,

And when will XDE be available for C++ in .NET (unmanaged and managed C++) ?

And in the meantime, which UML-tool do you recomend us to use for unmanaged
C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET ?

Regards

Arne Styve
