A couple of weeks ago, I posted a question on how to make
Rose models look better using Web Publisher. Even called Rational Support and
did not get any help. The problem was that the model diagram was unreadable
because it was zoomed out too far. Visio for example autosizes
the diagram before publishing and offers an HTML zoom feature. The cure for this problem is really quite simple. While the
Rose HTML model cannot be zoomed, you can zoom into the rose model diagram before
publishing it and everything will come out clearly. Althouth
the advice is quite simple, before publishing a Rose model to HTML: Clean up all diagrams and make sure all text is readable, relationship
lines look as good as possible, and diagram elements don't overlap. Zoom into each drawing until the drawing is readable. Sometimes simple solutions are not the most obvious ones. Cheers, Art.
