Philippe,

I have a script that will allows you to set class color based on stereotype
(see attached).  But in your case I think that what you probably need to do
is to define a new stereotype for your derived class and associate an icon
to it (which will basically be the base class icon but with a different
color).  You would then stereotype the derived class accordingly to achieve
what you want.
