I don't know if there's a better way to do it, but this one should work (at
least it did for us).
You have to change the value of the registry key
\HKLM\SOFTWARE\SourceCodeControlProvider to one of the values enumerated
under \HKLM\SOFTWARE\SourceCodeControlProvider\InstalledSCCProviders. This
is the default source code control provider for the system, and is the one
VB uses for SCC. It looks like the last software package you install
overwrites this value.
Hope this helps.

Asunto: (ROSE) How To Enable VSS After Installing Rational

Hi

I have one problem with source control. I have installed Rational Suite
Enterprise in my PC. After installing rational my integration with source
Safe is no longer available. It displays clearcase in VB but not VSS.
Right now we are using VSS as our version management tool.
In some PC after installing Rational if we install Visualstudio then it is
working but in some PC this is not working.
What setting is required to enable the VSS in VB.EXE after installing
Rational Suite Enterprise.
We have operating system as Windows 2000 professional.

Thanks
Manish Panchal
