Hi Richard,
Hi Richard, Following site will provide more information on Zachman's framework. http://www.zifa.com/ Brian from Casewise could also provide meaningful information. Casewise is an excellent tool for 'business process modeling'. I dread using the term 'business process modeling' for it is quite nebulously used. Instead I prefer Enterprise Architecture Modeling, with Business Process Being part of it. I like Rose for its capacity to abstract the software systems requirement and also to depict the software processes mimicking the business as 'instances'. But Rose is quite handicapped to represent 'events' flow meaningfully. Rational might choose to use UML notations to depict 'events' but then it defeats in it very purpose of using UML notations in describing more complex and abstract software behavior. One point to ponder about ..."""after discovering and acheiving process automation what care, excercise or process should one follow to plug-in the automated part into the existing physical enterprise without introducing newer discontinuties in the boundaries???? These anaswers do not lie in Rose. rgds srinidhi --- "Richard A.
