Just to correct one minor point - RUP does *not* suggest you just build a prototype of the system in Elaboration, it says that the exit critera for the Elaboration phase is that there is a working, executable architecture - ie you have driven the key arhcitecturally significant use cases through to code and test. These are not prototypes - this is the real thing (albeit it may not be 100% complete). I suspect this is probably what you meant anyway, but just to make it clear what RUP says...I definitely see projects (working with one right now) that have got confused on this. regards anthony > -----Original Message----- > From: Scott W.
