Two issues, static and dynamic.

Static real time modeling is done with active classes. In Rose that is done by stereotyping classes to

<<Process>> and <<Thread>> and modeling them in the logical view in a package called processview.

The dynamic modeling including interprocesses communication (queues, mailboxes, semaphores) is

done in Activity Diagrams, with each swimlane being a process or thread.
