Hi, To use your own stereotype for an Activity, you should refer to ActivityState in your .ini file. Here is a link to the rational solution web site that will give you an example: http://solutions.rational.com/solutions/ SOLUTION ID : 23086 SOLUTION SUBJECT: WINDOWS/UNIX: Custom stereotypes for Activity and State http://solutions.rational.com/solutions/display.jsp?solutionId=23086
Hope this helps. Do you know how to do it? Do you know where I can find some free software to create some .wmf file? The <rose>\defaultstereotypes.ini is a good source for example: [Stereotyped Items] Use Case:business use case [Use Case:business use case] Item=Use Case Stereotype=business use case Metafile=&\stereotypes\normal\rube_usecase.wmf SmallPaletteImages=&\stereotypes\small\rube_usecase_s.bmp SmallPaletteIndex=1 MediumPaletteImages=&\stereotypes\medium\rube_usecase_m.bmp MediumPaletteIndex=1 ListImages=&\stereotypes\list\rube_usecase_l.bmp ListIndex=1 ToolTip=Creates a business use case\nBusiness use case "Metafile" is used for the diagrams and can be EMF or WMF format. The X"PaletteImages" and "ListImages" are BMPs for the browser and the iconbar. They contain multiple pictures with a fixed size and they have an Index. There was an article on http://www.therationaledge.com/ about writing stereotypes (and of course in our German Book "Rational Rose und UML - Anleitung zum Praxiseinsatz", ISBN: 3898421724). mit freundlichen Grüßen Jan Materne RZF NRW Sachgebiet 314-P Methodenberatung Internet: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Luman [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Gesendet am: Mittwoch, 15. I've introduced own stereotypes for some components. However I would like to mark out them using in components diagrams by my icons.
