I wrote an article on Rosegarden design principles for this month's Linux User and Developer (Issue 30) which is out now in shops (well WHSmiths). Rosegarden4 0.9 along with MuSe and Brahms is on the cover disk too in source form only. Probably just as well it's only the source code really considering how buggy 0.9 was but we'll gloss over that one a bit..
Anyway, the article isn't really that technial despite being in the developer section of the mag .. actually I really must read it myself at some point and find out how it all works. The release of this issue coincides nicely with the Linux User expo in Birmingham UK in a few weeks time (24th-26th June). There'll be a Rosegarden stand there again and (I'm pretty sure) Chris and me will be on hand to give demos, make some noise and chat to people just like we did at the one last October. More details will follow but for the moment you can register for the expo for free at: http://www.linuxuser.co.uk/expo/ R ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Etnus, makers of TotalView, The best thread debugger on the planet.
