Anyway, my sense of what users want (from talking to users complaining about how badly the Lilypond export works in actual practice) is that only a select few of them actually have an interest in Lilypond itself. Most just want a way to print what's on the screen that works. Personally, I think Lilypond could do with a dedicated, Lilypond-specific front end.
