Hi!

Firstly, I feel the need to give much thanks and
respect to Guillaume, Chris and Ric for putting so
much time and effort into creating what will surely
become (if it isn't already) one of the flagship open
source creativity apps. All power to you!

I'm new to this list so please forgive me if I'm
asking tired questions, but I've checked the FAQ, RG
tutorial and it's online docs and can't find the
answers I'm searching for, so I'd be grateful if
someone could help.

1) I seem to remember my keyboard emitting a click
track when I was using it to play something into a
Windoze sequencer once. Very useful feature I thought.
Does RG have a similiar Metronome-style function, or
do I need to get an external program for that?

2) I know RG supports JACK, but I don't really know
much about Jack (or Rosegarden). I do know though that
amSynth supports JACK too, so I was wondering if it is
possible to have one or more RG tracks pumped through
amSynth (or something similiar). Futhermore, is it
possible to set and send things like cut-off,
modulation etc. under RG so they can be streamed
through amSynth too? I'd be happy twiddling in
real-time though :)

3) Do you have a _general_ idea of when you're going
to make another release? I got last nights CVS and it
it seems more stable than ever- certainly better than
the last release, although I haven't played with it
that intensely yet as I only got my MIDI keyboard
working under Linux today!

Thanks for your help, keep up the excellent work!

dan
