But we > need to resolve to do one or the other. I just added that Device/Channel thing yesterday as I thought it made more sense then specifying an Instrument (whose channel can get remapped). To test the metronome in studio thing (which I knew existed) I wrote an RG file and only saw the metronome in config object (presuming the metronome in studio (which is where it was originally) had died a death).
