Actually it makes good, sound, practical sense that you guys with the faster machines and quicker link times do the gui tweaking - while my compile time is way down with distcc the link time can be like two mins on the laptop. I'll concentrate on the sequencer stuff for the moment - audio disk threading, mp3 (playback) support and the tempo/timesig/JACK transport etc stuff.
