Actually that will load the font every time you start another shell. I don't
recall exactly how often the bash.profile is read (when a new interactive
shell is started, or only at login), refer to the bash manpage for that, but
in any case that's not the place to put sfxload. Try /etc/init.d/rc.local for
that.
