We do. The rulers are saved against the Segments themselves and in out from file. See Segment.h:get/setViewFeatures(). Before you jump up and down it _would_ actually make more sense to save these features out per view rather than per Segment but with the settings amnesia problems I didn't want to put any more stuff into RC files than strictly necessary. As an aside I think it'd be valuable to enforce window states between sessions too - i.e. remember what mixers and view were open and reinstate them - perhaps saving them into the RG file <appearance> subheading. BTW I would investigate this a bit further but I notice a nice crash right now when opening the notation view from current CVS. Ah, seems to be an assert() failing for segments.size() > 0 at notationview.cpp:224.
