I didn't look at the script, and have no suggestion there.  I did notice a 
similar phenomenon with my own tutorial stuff.  I never did sort it out.

When run directly, everything was spiffy keen, but when running out of cron, 
the ssh key stuff was getting horked up.  Nothing in my local environment 
changed from one day to the next.  I tried making and uploading a new key, 
jumping through the various hoops and whatnots, futzing with the path in the 
crontab, and the script itself too I think.

I never did get it to work again after the first day I got the error messages 
back from cron.  It would be interesting to see if your script broke at the 
same time.  I don't have a date close at hand though, and producing one would 
take more poking than I feel like tonight.

Oh, unless your script has nothing whatsoever to do with uploading anything to 
SF.  I didn't even look to see what it does do.
