Not that I know of. I'll report the .pyc cleanup to Thomas.

BTW, with the last update we have the possibility of explicitly disabling some 
features, as follows :

scons configure noalsa=1 nojack=1

Currently he implemented it only for alsa and jack, I'll ask him if it could 
be done in a more generic way.
