Hello, I'm writing a simple alsa sequencer client that
I intend to use with rosegarden, I bootstrapped my
work from seqdemo.c from Dr. Matthias Nagorni
(http://www.suse.de/~mana/alsa090_howto.html) It works
fine when I use pmidi, but when I try to use
rosegarden to send events to it, it will receive the
first note on and then stop. It's not a timing source
problem, as suggested in the rosegarden FAQ, it works
well with other alsa clients.

Interesting enough, when I start and stop rosegarden,
I receive the control messages, when I start it again,
I'll receive the first note on and then no other midi
events are received.

This happens with seqdemo.c too, and everything works
fine with pmidi. Is rosegarden any different? Do I
have to do something that Nagorni's tutorial doesn't
tell me to? I notice it's not been updated for a
while...

Any light on the matter?

Thanks in Advance

Eduardo
