I am missing party wittingly.
Before all, Silvar you're getting somewhere. Which is good, usually. :)
Secondly, I'll join you on this in a week or two more actively. Still have many unfinished school jobs...

Just to drop some notes:

Old track-operations icons had one advantage, visualy. They were much more uniform and less distracting. Mainly I'm talking about less red leds and track colors. There ware some light green fuelds under the star, the same that were missing under "X" -- "Press here where the star is and you'll have them created or press here and they will be no more..." Now there is one almost-white track displayed at the third place. For what? Wait a minute, those are segments presented not tracks?! However, I would rather copy old scheme then experiment with new one. (BTW, these were my favourites among icons)

Matrix and percussion editor icons are great with just about too obvious grid's gray. But, that's the metter of taste. Shadow could be more intensive under the drum-sticks. That will make them look better on light background.

Event editor and synth plugins are too fuzzy, again, overlooking synth editor icon's inanity.

Mixers definitely need redrawing.

"Scroll to follow playback" could be in some lighter blue variant.

Solo to be redesigned along with play/pause. The problem is here that play-rectangle is not big enough to look like intended accent nor small enough to fit in nearby icons' form. This looks more like mistake to me.
Metronome and loop need some more tweaking.

One more general question... Why we don't use halo effect on icons?

And that's all.

Vlada
