That said, I certainly don't want to throw away all the changes you did. I disagree with the addition of sub-Sconscript files, which I think goes the opposite of what I'd like to have (that is, as few SConscript files as possible), but the rest looks fine. If you've been working with Thomas, it's even better. Our main Sconstruct apparently needs a bit of a rewrite to accomodate bksys 1.5, if you're willing to take care of that you'd be most welcome, and you'd be in an ideal position of doing it since you're in your own branch (then we could merge only the scons bits once they're ready).
