No, it's an issue of "let's make sure you'll be remain a reliable contributor". I'm not concerned about your skills, I'm concerned about the amount of time you can spend on RG (and again I'm certainly not questionning your willingness to work, but your ability - there's only so many hours in a day, and your studies come first). Just being pragmatic here.

We've had several contributors in the past, some have committed a fair amount of code, but with time very few have maintained a regular activity. It never turned out to be a serious problem, but it would for someone who would take over a central feature such as our build system.

So stay tuned to the guitar_tab_editor branch for these changes.
Sounds good. Once you'll have updated the scripts for bksys 1.5, please send me a patch so I can give it a quick test, then you can commit that bit in the main branch.
