If you haven't actually built and tested the current guitar_chord_editor 
branch, then you should.  Stephen has already made a dialog that pops 
up when you click the "fretboard" notation tool and that makes it 
trivial to define a chord by just clicking on a little fretboard (and 
dragging, for barres).  I think it uses KGuitar (?) graphics code.  
It's very nice, although I do worry a bit about the fact that you can 
select a chord by name and then happily edit the fretboard to something 
that clearly is totally unrelated to the named chord without it being 
at all concerned.

Save and load seems like the thing missing, to me, and for that I see no 
problem with the original XML.
