Finally, I have a patch for the microtonal/pitch tracking update. It is available here:

markov.music.gla.ac.uk/Software/RGPT/patchfiles.tar.bz2

There's been a slight *cough* delay caused by increased workload, and the corruption of my backup. This means there could still be a couple of gremlins, but that never changes, really.

Changes include:
1. The pitch tracking is much more solid, though, saying that I now have the feeling that the AMDF method is broken. 2. The pitch tracking is now completely integrated within a PitchTrackerView window - a subclass of NotationView.

"Bad things":
1. The AMDF function, as I said above.
2. I think the rewind button needs to be pressed between each performance.
3. The options are changed by clicking on the tracker pane, which sucks a bit.

Since completing the current state, I've had much less time to work on RG - hence the length of time taken to produce a working patch. I did want to look into designing a Tuning class which would enable RG to re-tune midi devices via the tuning standard offline, or during a composition. I started this a while ago, and I wanted to bring it up during the discussions on system architecture, but I'll need to look over my plans again.

If I have time, I'd like to see how well the pitch tracker might work as a midi input device. I assume this has been done before, but I haven't seen any examples.

Cheers,
Doug
