It probably doesn't make much difference. Devel is fine. > 1/ Problem with latin1 characters encoding when loading file: > [...] > There is "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" (converted by RG in UTF-8) at this location, in > a segment > label. > > I just saw a reference to this bug on rosegarden-devel, but the bug > seems to be still here. The fix recently committed was to file _saving_ not file loading. If your .rg file was created before that fix was committed, then it would still be expected not to load -- there probably isn't an easy fix for that, because the file is simply wrongly encoded for the XML parser. However, if this problem occurred when trying to reload a file that was _saved_ using current CVS after my fix, then I'd like to know more. > 2/ Problem with old RG 1.0 files with percussion tracks: the > "Percussion" editor still do not show percussions name. The percussion names will only be displayed if there is a key mapping configured for the program in use on the device in question. These key mappings are part of the studio section of the Rosegarden document, which means that a file saved without any key mappings will continue to have no key mappings regardless of what version of Rosegarden you load it into. You would have to import some key mappings in the bank editor and then resave the file. Chris ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the JBoss Inc.
