Hi Guillaume,

On the topic of a release, I have been playing with the 1.1beta that
you sent out a little while back. I ran into a strange issue getting
it compiled, same thing with CVS from a few days ago.

The root of the issue seemed to be a QString problem - my version
of Qt (3.1, KDE 3.3.2) doesn't seem to have constructors/implicit
cast operators for QString <-> std::string.

I've got it compiled and running with some pretty stupid changes
(basically, writing the casts that need to happen explicitly). But I
wonder - are you guys using a different version of Qt? Perhaps I'm
missing some package that lets you do things like:

std::string str = "blahblah";
QString qstr = str;
str = qstr;
if (str == qstr) yay();

I can make a patch when I get home tonight so you guys can see
precisely what it was that I needed to do. I suspect this wasn't
expected breakage?
