However, I can't test it properly as after a couple of seconds a message pops up to say I've run out of CPU (hold on, I'll just do it again to see exactly what it says)Run out of processor power for realtime processing. Is this because my kernel is not suitable? I use the ubuntu kernel 2.6.12-10-686-smp and compiled the realtime module.
I looked around for peoples opinion on this kernel and it seems that it really is a warthog when it comes to audio/midi stuff. Does anyone have experience with using say a Demudi kernel in Ubuntu (or am I propagating heresy). Or will I have to recompile the kernel?
