Before I go on with this, how would you expect RG to behave in this situation ? If there are no other segments playing, then the metronome should keep playing, repeating the last bar (so it remains in the current time signature). However, what to do if there are other segments playing ? Should these remain silent, or should they loop on their last bar as well ? I would say they should remain silent, except if they are repeating.
