Still didn't work.  Hrm.  I deleted the one in /usr/share/doc/HTML, and then 
reinstalled.  There's no new one there, but not in /usr/share/doc/kde/HTML 
either.  I'm trying to figure where the hell it *did* go.

OK. I don't know what it means, but this is interesting.  The error in the 
help app says:

"There is no documentation available for /rosegarden/index.html."

Wrong name, wrong path, and it's off of / for some reason.

The install just put everything in /

$ ls /
bin/   cdrom@  -->en/<--  etc/   initrd/    -->ja/<--   lost+found/  mnt/  
proc/  sbin/  sv/   tmp/  var/
boot/  dev/    -->es/<--  home/  initrd.img@  lib/  media/       opt/  root/  
srv/   sys/  usr/  vmlinuz@

That's weird.  The command *does* report the right path:

$ kde-config --expandvars --install html
/usr/share/doc/kde/HTML

So something is busted between the command and the install.
