Upon further investigations, it's not that something is broken, it's that the 
code just isn't there : the ruler scale which the tempo ruler in the matrix 
view uses is the matrix horiz. layout, but there is no way to tell this 
layout that zoom has occurred (the zooming in the matrix view is done by 
changing the canvas' transform matrix).
