If you want to request a new feature, please open a new tracker in
https://sourceforge.net/projects/rosegarden
Developers are tracking these requests by getting an email of each new
feature.
These trackers will also be read again, and again. If you do not request
something in the
rosegarden-devel list, which is directly and easily implemented, there is
change that the
request will be forgotten in the archives of the discussion list. So, please
use the tracker
for feature request. We also use the tracker to collect new ideas.
Your idea also will not be directly rejected, but its implementation may
need a new eager
developer, who would like to see this particular idea implemented. People
are unpaid and
coding just-for-fun, which is the reason why the best way to get your thing
implemented is
to start coding and provide a patch. So, if you liked Rosegarden and see
that it could be
even better, join the chorus and sing the Rosegarden song (written in C++
;).
Currently, some developers are thinking how single-staff polyphony could be
entered
the most elegant way in notation view---multiple staffs you already can edit
easily.
For example my efforts are bound to this kind of just-for-fun issue. When
people are
coding just-for-fun, they usually spend also some time stabilizing the code
by squashing
out bugs.
