I don't know anything about those.  Tell me more?

I've only just learned (via http://www.ardour.org/node/1050) that
someone reverse engineered some of the important bits of the VST
protocol about a year ago, and the result is apparently available for
use in LMMS.  Is the thing you're talking about the same?

I would be keen to have "native" VST (i.e. support for the plugins the
Jost guys have ported to Linux, not using Wine) if clean
reverse-engineered headers were available.  But I absolutely haven't
got the time and energy to do this myself.  In any case, I don't want
to get actively involved in any development using reverse-engineered
headers because I've accepted the SDK licence terms and I don't want
any legal troubles.  If someone would like to provide a patch, that
would always be very welcome.
